The Community Care ministry is a combination of programs within
Bedford Community Church whose mission statement is identical to that of
BCC;
“Helping
people move toward Christlikeness”
To
accomplish its mission, the various efforts of the Community Care
Ministry have two primary goals:
-
Modeling Christ’s love
to non-believers by meeting the physical needs of others.
-
Providing opportunities for BCC members to model Christ’s love in an
organized and efficient manner.

Ever expanding circles of God’s love As
we reach out and show our love for one another, those around us are impacted as
well. They see the tangible results of a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ.
Acts
20:35 says, Everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work, we
must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said, “It is
more blessed to give than to receive .” In God’s economy, if no one receives,
then no one can give. Do you have a need? As the eyes and ears of community
Care, do you know someone in need?
BCC
Christmas Outreach:
Jesus tells us to
feed, clothe and care for the needy in our communities. This Christmas, we
want to express Christ's love to our "neighbor's." If you know of anyone
who is in need of some love encouragement, food and gifts this Christmas, please
nominate them today for our Christmas outreach program. We want to be a blessing
to those outside (or inside) our church and shine the love of Christ to them
this Christmas! Call the BCC office at 641-0124 if you would
like to nominate someone.
We are adopting 6-10
families from within our church and others in the community
to provide presents
and food for a Christmas Meal. You can sign up at the Christmas Outreach
Tree to the left of the stage or call the office.
