It is Summer!
Yeah, it's been a while since we've
updated our youth page.
Our bad. I suppose we were too
busy counting our cash after winning the
web design contest. Isn't there a
Proverb out there about that, like "All
ye work hard and labor and bear fruit
then once ye have received thine talents
for thine effort kick back and do
nothing." Or maybe not.
It is summer an there is lots to do. Our
calendar is packed. Already we are just
finishing our "Service" Series. Where we
have been going out and serving our
local community. Sounds boring right? As
we have found serving other is not only
pleasing to God but we can also have
fun.
Truly the Lord was working in our Youth
Group and we are enormously thankful for
the stellar lineup of kids we have.
It's bittersweet to see a major
contingent of mainstays heading off to
college, but we're also welcoming some
new blood. Regardless, as a
committee, we're hugely amped for what
the Lord has in store for us this coming
year.
So let's give this year a fitting end,
BCC Youth Group style...and that means,
pictures of our kids with toilet paper
wrapped around their heads!
